

Muscat: Oman Meteorology has warned of rough seas along the coastal areas of the Arabian Sea with a maximum wave height of 4.0 meters.
The state of the sea on the other coasts of the Sultanate of Oman will be a maximum wave height of 1.25 meters.
Along the coastal areas of the Oman, sea winds will be easterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, becoming occasionally fresh at night, and over most of the governorates, it will be southeasterly to southwesterly, light to moderate and fresh along Arabian Sea coasts and desert areas of Al Wusta and Dhofar.
General weather
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies along the Dhofar coasts and mountains, with intermittent drizzle and a chance of isolated rain over the desert of Dhofar and the mountains. Medium and high cloud advections over most of the governorates, with a chance of convective cloud development and isolated rain; occasionally thundershowers associated with fresh winds over parts of the Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon may extend to the desert areas in the evening. Chance of dust rising over deserts and open areas. Chance of late-night to early-morning low clouds/fog over the coasts of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates and over the Sea of Oman coasts.
